Join us for a special session of our reading group Esoteric Algorithms & Re-enchanted Technologies, taking place within the exhibition space. For this session, artist Dasha Ilina will be present.
Esoteric Algorithms & Re-enchanted Technologies ia a framework that embraces esoteric and embodied knowledge as tool to challenge dominant narratives of technological rationality, control and exclusion. We read texts on magical thinking, alternative techno-histories, and the politics of computation with a critical, feminist, materialist lens.

Artist
Dasha Ilina is a Russian techno-critical artist based in Paris. Through the employment of low-tech and DIY approaches, her work questions the desire to incorporate modern technology into our daily lives by highlighting the implications of actually doing so. Her practice engages the public in order to facilitate a space for the development of critical thought regarding social imperatives for care, privacy in the digital age, and the contemporary urge to turn to technology for answers.
